Program Manager

You will collaborate with other Project Managers, analysts, developers, and designers and will report to the Principals of the company.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Program Development

  • Portfolio Consulting- grow, maintain, manage; includes Business Development
  • Sales leads follow-up, new business introductory calls/meetings, explore new potential business channels
  • Proposal writing, technical writing, strategy, capture management
  • Attend networking and conference events
  • Foster perpetual sales through successful project management and customer satisfaction

 

Project Management

  • Manage all aspects of application, web GIS, and system architecture support for an extensive project portfolio
  • Manage scope, budget, timeline, and deliverables
  • Lead project teams through all phases of the application process including requirements building, designing, developing, testing and deployment

 

Team Oversight

  • Acts as a champion to foster a positive project work environment; and successfully leads the team to accomplish all the project objectives on time and on budget
  • Manage team members and advise on staff allocation
  • Review timesheets and invoicing to ensure projects are on track at all times
  • Play a key role in our performance management process
  • 8+ years of project management experience in the GIS industry
  • Esri ArcGIS experience and overall knowledge of the Esri platform
  • Experience with projects leveraging ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, and Cloud technologies (Amazon Web Services, Azure)
  • Understanding of data visualizations; keen interest in learning about new technology (especially interactive web mapping applications)  
  • Collaborative, team-oriented work style paired with the ability to work independently, troubleshoot, and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
  • Organizational, planning and follow-through skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Business Development Experience: Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to present and discuss technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding
  • Experience managing customer relationships with CRM tools like Salesforce
  • Passion for unlocking location intelligence to help our clients solve the world's greatest challenges
  • Must be local to the Arlington, VA area and willing to work in the office occasionally
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
