Inbound Sales Supervisor/Manager

Our company

Meadow Memorials  is a forward-thinking funeral home providing simple cremations, personalized memorials, and transparent pricing. We offer support to families navigating loss, aiming to simplify and modernize funeral planning. Most of us are not prepared for losing a loved one, and the existing funeral offerings are often outdated and hard to navigate.

Our partnerships with premier venues in Los Angeles ensure top-tier service and meaningful experiences. By prioritizing exceptional customer care, unmatched hospitality, and transparency, we help families honor their loved ones with ease and gratitude - and have grateful families as a result.

Why Join us?

  • Above all, we’re here to support families through one of life’s hardest moments, allowing them to celebrate lives. If that speaks to you, speak to us.

  • This is a position primed for growth: we know the Care team will grow alongside Meadow, and there are many opportunities to build and grow professionally. If you want to step up into a manager role, this role is pole position as we grow.

  • If you have experience in retail, hospitality, etc. this can also be a great step into the startup world. You don’t have to start from scratch, and get to work with an experienced founding team.

Our first Sales Supervisor

We’re looking for a Team Supervisor to keep our operations smooth as we scale. Our team (that we call Care team) blends inbound sales with a hospitality-first approach, meeting every lead and customer with clarity and care. You’ll focus on three things: serving customers quickly and well, driving the team’s performance and growth, and solving operational challenges as they come up.

How we sell:

  • Our sales process is centered on empathy, understanding and expertise. We sell a service over the phone that people often need during a challenging time but may not fully understand.

  • We primarily communicate by phone, secondarily via text and email. After first contact, we do follow up as families make their decisions.

  • First impressions matter. Given the time-sensitive nature of our service, success on the initial call strongly influences our win rate—over half of our cases are closed within the first 48 hours.

  • Great representatives are empathetic, calm, and knowledgeable. They guide conversations with confidence, moving from discovery to close with ease.

You’ll work closely with our Head of Sales, managing a team of 6-8 to start. As we grow, you’ll help shape how we scale and structure the team. Our sales framework and reporting tools are well-established but always evolving. We aim to enhance coaching and reporting and plan to transition to a new CRM in the next quarter.

If you’ve led sales teams and want to step up into a manager role, this is a great opportunity to make an impact.

Our objectives for the role

  • Assess candidates and onboard new team members effectively.

  • Reinforce a culture of first-class hospitality and accountability.

You keep daily operations on track, with rising win rate, low errors, and clear visibility

  • Oversee day-to-day activities, run smooth operations and no missed opportunities.

  • Track and analyze team performance using daily and weekly reports.

  • Spot and resolve operational challenges, work across teams to implement fixes.

You boost sales results

  • Coach the team to close deals more effectively, driving win rates higher MoM.

  • Train team members on new sales techniques and frameworks.

  • Drive constant call reviews to identify wins to celebrate, and opportunities to take.

We’re looking for:

  • Proven success in a similar sales motion: inbound, call-based, B2C, with complex or sensitive topics.

  • At least 5 years of experience, including team management and coaching.

You’ll excel in this role because you’re:

  • An exceptional team leader who inspires and develops others.
