CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for a System Administrator to join a dynamic new program for one of our current security-focused Federal Government clients. You will be part of a team of cyber security professionals working to improve the security posture for our client by evaluating systems, and identifying and helping to mitigate cyber risks. At a high level, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and operating cybersecurity tools to enhance the cybersecurity posture at the agency.
This position is located in Washington, DC.
Provide subject matter expertise for effective endpoint detection and response implementations
Install, configure, operate, and maintain zero trust architecture toolsets such as Tenable, CrowdStrike, Splunk, BigFix, Okta, etc.
Integrate toolsets with a variety of data sources and client systems with varying classifications
Serve as a subject matter expert mentoring the team on interpreting and responding to incidents
Contribute to zero trust architecture roadmap and future planning to continuously improve systems security posture, aligned with best-of-breed tooling
Provide tuning recommendations related to the implemented toolsets and Incident Response procedures
Create orchestration and automation response playbooks
Active Top Secret Clearance
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent demonstrated experience and knowledge
4+ years managing large or complex enterprise systems
Security+ certification
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $78,400.00 - $190,900.00.
