What We Need:


Clasp is looking for a Product Manager to lead our data platform initiatives. In this role, you’ll drive the long-term strategy for building data products that empower internal and external stakeholders to make informed decisions. You’ll oversee the entire Data Lifecycle Policy, ensuring data governance, compliance, and quality, while fostering a culture of data stewardship to support business growth.


What You'll Do:
  • Manage the Data Platform Roadmap: Collaborate with engineering and data teams to prioritize and execute the development of Clasp’s data platforms, analytics tools, and services.
  • Engage Stakeholders: Work closely with various departments and customers to understand their data needs and turn insights into actionable product features. You’ll be responsible for distilling their needs into actionable work for Engineering.
  • Develop Data Governance Policies: Implement and maintain policies to ensure data accuracy, quality, reliability, and accessibility, while managing operational and legal compliance.
  • Ensure Data Quality: Establish standards and processes for data monitoring, auditing, and legal conformance in a federated environment.
  • Foster Data Stewardship: Promote accountability and ownership of data through internal communication, training, and awareness campaigns.
  • Support Legal and Privacy Audits: Collaborate with data and analytics teams to facilitate responses to legal requests and data privacy audits.
  • Champion Product Development: Lead a balanced product development approach that drives team pride, passion, and behaviors aligned with Clasp’s vision.


What You'll Need:
  • Experience: 4+ years in product management, preferably in data platforms, analytics, or a related field.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of data infrastructure (ETL pipelines, data warehouses) and analytics tools (BI platforms, data visualization).
  • Product Launch Experience: Proven track record of launching data-driven products or services that improve user experience.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Ability to translate customer needs into impactful product features.
  • Results-Oriented: A track record of delivering value through team roadmaps that drive business results.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, able to explain complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive leadership.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to leverage both qualitative and quantitative data to inform product decisions.

$100,000 - $150,000 a year
The salary range for this position is competitive and will be commensurate with the candidate's experience, qualifications, and industry knowledge, ranging between $100,000 to $150,000 annually. In addition to the base salary, we offer an attractive equity component as part of our compensation package, providing an opportunity for eligible employees to share in the success and growth of our company.
