Commercial Partnerships Intern (Florida Remote)

KAYAK is seeking a highly-motivated intern for our Commercial Partnerships team who will help build and maintain business relationships with our flight distribution partners. You will be great in this position if you have a strong understanding of the travel/ flight industry, excellent analytical skills and the ability to work cross functionally to drive results. You are a self-starter and able to thrive in an agile, fast-paced and data-driven environment.

The position will run until December 22, 2023. This position will report into the Director of Flights and can be remote.

In this role, you will:

• Analyze and monitor the performance of content on KAYAK and of partnerships with airlines and OTAs
• Develop strong internal relationships and work cross-functionally with the KAYAK commercial, product and engineering teams to drive results
• Monitor the competitive landscape of travel search sites, and brainstorm solutions to keep KAYAK competitive

• Experience in the travel/flight industry
• Preferably working towards a Master’s degree in Marketing, Communication or Business
• Self-starter and ability to work independently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation experience
• Ability to present ideas and participate in constructive discussions with groups of all sizes
• Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, perhaps you’re a closet numbers junkie
• Highly detail-oriented, problem solving and analytical skills absolutely required
