Family Nurse Practitioner FNP – Plano/Fort Worth, TX

 

Qualifications

  • Master of science in nursing (MSN)
  • FNP Certification according to state
  • Buprenorphine Certification
  • Clinical training in family medicine
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Computer literate
  • Termination of Employment – Practitioner is required to provide a (3) three month written notice of resignation prior to severing employment
  • English (Required)
  • Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (Required)
  • FNP-BC in Texas (Required)
  • Plano, TX (Required)
  • Fort Worth, TX (Required)

Benefits

  • Starting salary of $100,000.00+ per year with assignment to our locations in Plano and Fort Worth, TX 4 days per week
  • It is our expectation that you would be able to see a minimum twenty-five (25) patients per day once your practice has been established
  • Clinic is Monday-Friday, with one day off during work week; however, you must be available, on-call on off days for communication, coordination and consult purposes with office staff
  • One-time sign-on bonus of $5,000.00 to be paid when you start
  • However, in the event you resign or are terminated prior to completing two (2) full years of service, you will be responsible for reimbursing the full amount of the sign on bonus of $5,000.00 on the day of the resignation notice
  • Benefits – Company will offer the Practitioner the following benefits
  • Health Insurance coverage with a percentage of premium paid by company
  • Company will purchase Malpractice Insurance coverage
  • Practitioner is allowed a total of four (4) weeks of paid time off per year - one (1) week for CME training and three (3) weeks paid vacation, sick, or holiday
  • The four (4) weeks of paid time off will renew annually at employment anniversary
  • Practitioner must request time off four (4) weeks prior to time off
  • If Practitioner anticipates they will not use allotted paid time off prior to their anniversary date, they Practitioner may request pay out of remaining paid time off in lieu of using
  • In addition, upon termination or resignation, Practitioner forfeits any remaining unused paid time off and company will not pay out any remaining unused paid time off
  • Reimbursement for DEA and licensing fees
  • Company offers 401k after one year and 1000 hours worked with 3% match of salary
  • Pay Schedule - Practitioner will be paid Bi-weekly, on Fridays, per payroll schedule

  • You will develop treatment plans for acute and chronic diseases, educate patients on disease prevention, perform diagnostic tests, and manage overall patient care
  • To be successful as a family nurse practitioner, you should provide primary, acute, chronic, and specialty care for illnesses affecting any member of the family
  • A family nurse practitioner should display a professional, yet nurturing personality while consistently providing excellent patient care with a strong emphasis on wellness and disease prevention
  • Diagnosing and treating health conditions
  • Formulating treatment plans for acute and chronic diseases
  • dictating patients on lifestyle habits
  • Ordering and analyzing diagnostic tests
  • Counseling patients
  • prescribing medication
  • Conducting examinations of the body
  • Managing overall patient care
  • Educating patients on preventative care and disease management
  • Providing and accepting internal referral to and from our psychiatric providers
  • Practitioner may not solicit companies’ patients for personal practice
