Board Certified Infectious Disease Physician Advisor, Disability Peer Review

Dane Street is seeking a Board Certified Infectious Diseases Physician for our Disability Peer Review program. This opportunity allows physicians to work remotely while contributing their expertise to important health assessments and disability determinations. As an independent contractor (1099), you will have the flexibility to manage your workload and schedule while ensuring high-quality reviews.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Conduct thorough reviews of medical records and patient histories related to infectious diseases to evaluate disability claims.
    • Provide clear and concise analyses that support determinations based on current medical guidelines and best practices.
    • Collaborate with other medical professionals to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of assessments.
    • Ensure compliance with client-specific policies and nationally recognized evidence-based guidelines during reviews.
    • Maintain proper medical licensure and certification in the area of infectious diseases.
    • Participate in quality assurance initiatives to enhance the integrity of the review process.
    • Attend all necessary training and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant medical advancements.
  • Board certification in Infectious Diseases required.
  • Active clinical practice preferred.

Dane Street supports all referral processes, scheduling, preps cases extensively, prepares all medical records, provides transcription services as applicable, facilitates all client communications, and ensures the quality and timeliness of all reports and report delivery.
