Base Pay Range:

$92,800-$97,000

As Brand Manager, your essential job responsibilities will include the following:

Strategy

  • Lead development of OEM marketing plans to achieve and/or exceed business goals and financial targets. 
  • Develop marketing plans that give focused direction to teams/agencies to develop world-class programs that build equity and deliver results.
  • Ensure integration of all elements of marketing mix work together to drive cohesive and impactful marketing programs.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Work closely with many teams, including program management, sales, marketing personnel and creative services to make sure marketing strategy ties to overall OEM objectives.
  • Direct all brand projects including, but not limited to, POP/advertising, sales materials, promotions, and innovation.
  • Work with General Managers and Program Management leadership to manage marketing budget and allocation of resources to achieve OEM brand objectives.
  • Align and coordinate with other Brand Managers to effectively allocate tire manufacturer funds  to maximize budget, ROI, and relationships.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Services team to ensure the visual brand identity is effectively communicated through all touch points relevant to our channel. 
  • Provide oversight to creative teams to develop effective marketing materials and manage the projects from creation to completion.
  • Supervise the sign off of marketing literature and campaigns, liaising with legal and compliance personnel, ensuring the designs and messages meet the OEM brand and regulatory guidelines.
  • Host OEM events or meetings when necessary.
  • Facilitate problem solving and collaboration.

Communication and Project Management

  • Communicate strategic and operational priorities, objectives, and goals.
  • Prepare and present marketing updates to senior-level internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Work with OEM and Dealer Tire teams daily on program promotional activities, program enhancements, results, and dealer communication.
  • Act as communication point person for internal departments as needed.
  • Develop and lead webinars/conference calls for new marketing program elements.
  • Participate in status calls with OEMs; reviewing all activity including current and future initiatives.
  • Provide reporting to OEMs daily, weekly & monthly.

Position Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of program management, project management, marketing or sales experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business. Advanced degree is considered a plus.
  • Demonstrated record of accomplishments in a growing business.
  • Experience with Dealer Tire in either sales or marketing is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of DT OEM programs preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience leading external and internal teams (i.e.: status weekly calls, launching a new project/enhancement for an OEM).
  • Proven leadership skills and team orientation.
  • Excellent detail orientation and organizational skills required to ensure prompt follow-up with both external (OEM) and internal customers.
  • Ability to manage in a fast-paced environment required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Mastery in all Microsoft Office products required.

Physical Job Requirements

  • Continuous viewing from and inputting data to a computer screen.
  • Sitting for long periods of time.
  • Travel as necessary (~20%).

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The total compensation package may also include commission, bonus or profit sharing.
