Job description

As a Creative Intern at DailyMail.com, you’ll gain hands-on experience working directly with the US Creative Director and be part of a collaborative creative team. This is a great opportunity to sharpen your skills and learn how visual storytelling comes to life. You’ll assist in creating a variety of visual assets — including marketing materials, advertising collateral for both pre-sale and post-sale campaigns, and corporate branding content. You’ll have the chance to explore different areas like graphic design, web design, and light motion graphics. This internship is a great fit for someone who’s eager to learn and excited to grow as a multimedia designer.

What you will do and learn:

  • Design and build PowerPoint presentations to support client-facing and internal needs.
  • Create and composite advertising assets using Adobe Photoshop, with guidance from the design team.
  • Utilize After Effects templates to produce motion-based ad mockups.
  • Develop corporate branding assets in Adobe Illustrator to gain experience in brand consistency and layout design.
  • Publish HTML5 ad units using Google Web Designer.

What we are looking for:

  • Current undergraduate or recent graduate (Communications, Marketing, Advertising or related fields preferred)
  • Strong design portfolio demonstrating relevant work
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Experience with Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Google Web Designer
  • Solid understanding of typography, color theory, and foundational web design principles
