As a Technical Trainer on the Legal Operations Enablement Team, you will showcase a combination of expertise in instructional, facilitation, and coaching skills to onboard, ramp, and accelerate the performance of our legal operations teammates. You will lead a variety of workshops and experiences that engage learners, from first impressions through ongoing continuing education. This is a dynamic role that requires a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual to deliver world-class learning programs regularly and consistently in a primarily virtual environment.
What You’ll Do
Facilitate high-quality, engaging, and relevant technical training workshops for internal team members.
Prepare learners to take and pass certification exams and assessments.
Adapt delivery techniques to account for different learning styles, using a combination of platform skills to facilitate learning transfer.
Assess learner performance and provide detailed verbal and written feedback in a timely manner.
Maintain a repository of training completion status, attendance, and exam/assessment scores.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of training material.
Provide detailed, comprehensive feedback on learner performance to management on a regular cadence.
Assist in the development of a variety of educational resources, including presentations, eLearning modules, hands-on exercises, and documentation to facilitate effective learning experiences.
Regularly audit, review, and revise existing training content such as slides, job aids, handouts, and reference materials to ensure content stays up to date.
Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of training content, adhering to established standards and guidelines.
Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify knowledge gaps and skill requirements within legal operations.
What We Look For
3+ years in training, public speaking, or related experience.
3+ years prior experience demonstrating technical training principles, practices, and procedures.
Prior experience administering assessments, evaluating learner performance, and providing real-time feedback.
Ability to apply knowledge to adult learning, including needs assessment and knowledge transfer.
Familiarity with multimedia content creation, editing tools, and learning management systems (LMS).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet tight deadlines and deliver results.
Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
