POSITION OVERVIEW

FRONTSTEPS is on a mission to build intuitive software solutions that foster transparency, efficiency, and collaboration for everyone who calls an association home. FRONTSTEPS Dwelling serves as a security product for HOAs with a specialization in Visitor Management and Credentialed Access. Dwelling is in a position to grow as a product, with the highlight of creating a system to scale to meet the needs of management companies.

 

In this role, the Product Owner will be an innovative leader excited to shape our company's future. You will leverage your expertise to drive product development and enhance user experiences. You will be responsible for self-sourcing data as needed to validate the success of newly released features and capabilities. You are a forward-thinking individual who embraces creative problem-solving, takes calculated risks, and brings a data-driven mindset to every decision. We seek someone who can lead by example, leveraging technology, BI, and AI to push boundaries and inspire those around them.

 

Immediate Value Objectives

·         Ramp up quickly, through a focus on maximizing product understanding and partner integrations. The purpose of this will be to help create a unified FRONTSTEPS front-end experience

·         Evaluate Dwelling as a product and how it can best enhance and enable the FRONTSTEPS Suite and mission

·         Utilize AI to enhance the quality of the product, as well as improve efficiency


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Deeply understand the customer and our integrated partners. Serve as an advocate for the customer in the product and ensure customer needs are reflected
  • Regularly engage with champion customers to identify value-added features
  • Translate the product vision into clearly articulated end-to-end use cases and user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria, minimizing the need for engineering input, utilizing AI tools to improve ideation, story writing, and team ritual efficiency, accelerating sprint velocity and documentation quality
  • Inspire a healthy culture of accountability for delivering the product roadmap by leading agile teams through sprint cycles, including creating and maintaining the product backlog, creating user stories, sprint planning, managing the work in the sprints, and defining acceptance criteria
  • Work closely with QA, Engineers, and other Product teams to prioritize work across the suite of products to ensure product development delivery and drive accountability to execute the product roadmap. Develop tight user stories, lead agile teams, and proactively guide the product's evolution. Utilize AI and Automation to streamline processes
  • Stay ahead of development teams, ensuring proactive product evolution and leveraging AI to improve efficiency
  • Drive organizational visibility into product development progress and completion. Ensure continuous communication of product development progress to internal and external stakeholders
  • Focus on key SaaS metrics such as DAU/MAU ratios and unit economics to track user engagement and optimize product decisions
  • Develop a strategy to move the FRONTSTEPS Dwelling product away from procuring hardware internally
  • Performs other duties as requested by management


SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
  • 5 to 7 years of experience working in a SaaS product ownership or software development environment
  • 4 years of experience building products leveraging APIs, Webservices, and direct DB connections
  • Extensive experience working with agile teams, leading sprint cycles, backlog management, and user story definition
  • Experience with hardware, and security vendors in the credentialed access and visitor management space
  • Proven track record of leveraging AI tools to enhance process efficiency and streamline story writing and team rituals
  • Familiarity with PowerBI and SQL to guide feature adoption and track user activity
  • Familiarity with SaaS analytics, including DAU/MAU ratios and unit economics, to evaluate product performance strongly desired
  • You have demonstrated the ability to work independently to find creative solutions with a solid understanding of software and technology
  • Ability to prioritize demands and lead by example in a highly collaborative and cross-functional environment
  • Proven ability to lead by example in a highly collaborative and cross-functional environment, with a slight impatience to deliver impactful changes 


$75,000 - $105,000 a year
This position is a full-time role based in FRONTSTEPS' Denver headquarters and pays an annual salary of $75,000 - $105,000.

This position will remain open through December 31st, 2024.
