Manufacturing Engineer Intern

Responsibilities / Tasks

As a Manufacturing Engineer Intern in our HRT Division, you will support the Lean and Operations departments in driving continuous improvement throughout our manufacturing processes. You'll contribute to real-world projects focused on enhancing efficiency, reducing waste, and improving overall product quality. This hands-on experience is designed to develop your engineering and problem-solving skills while working alongside experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production inefficiencies.
  • Apply Lean principles to eliminate waste and improve process flow.
  • Assist in the development of Value Stream Maps to analyze and enhance current workflows.
  • Support the execution of assigned continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Improve data collection systems to provide more accurate and actionable operational analytics.
  • Research and share innovative technologies that could improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Advanced Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
