Position: Vice President, Strategic Growth - Army Account

Govini is seeking a proven, driven, and mission-focused Vice President, Strategic Growth to expand our most significant business development initiatives and drive Govini’s growth within the defense and national security sectors. This uniquely strategic and operational role includes both internal and external-facing responsibilities, driving critical business outcomes for Govini’s long-term success. The right person for this position has a track record of effectively shaping and capturing large government contracts for emerging and innovative technologies, particularly software. Scope of Responsibilities
  • Shape and capture strategic growth opportunities
  • Create new and leverage existing relationships
  • Map requirements and relationships within target DoD offices to identify opportunities for Govini’s offerings
  • Leverage effective relationships with key customer stakeholders to identify new business opportunities by identifying and addressing customer needs
  • Drive execution of strategies to maximize success across new opportunities, recompetes, and IDIQs
  • Personally engage in strategic sales and business development opportunities
  • Lead capture of large, complex Federal contracts Convert tangible outcomes from mission success pilots into a roadmap for expanded, sustained capabilities
  • Collaborate with capture and sales teams to drive understanding of customer needs, motivations, and market trends


Qualifications
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in program management, acquisitions, or business development/capture in the government or private sector
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a DoD-focused business development
  • Proven track record of shaping and capturing strategic defense growth opportunities
  • Deep understanding of government contracting, fielding, and requirements generation
  • Demonstrated ability to build, adapt, and implement innovative market approaches
  • Expertise in leading the capture of large, complex pursuits for Federal contracts valued at $50M or more
  • US Citizenship required
  • Willingness to get/maintain a US security clearance preferred
