A top firm in the area is looking to add a Tax Manager to their team. This stable and growing firm offers clients valuable knowledge and expertise in tax. Due to the recent growth of the firm, there is an opportunity for a Tax Manager to join a team of highly motivated staff.Tax Manager Responsibilites• Perform technical tax review of tax returns of staff accountants• Independently research tax issues• Follow tax compliance laws and discuss with clients as needed• Oversee a team of highly motivated staff / train staff• Provide tax compliance and consulting to a diverse base of clients• Be creative with staff development, mentoring, and overseeing client engagement teams.Qualifications Include• CPA license required• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting• At least five years of experience in Public Accounting• Customer-centric with excellent relationship and adaptability skills• Detailed, well-organized, with strong communication skills• Exhibits a strong team-player attitude in helping co-workers succeed• Results-oriented with a high level of integrity and dependability• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment while making decisions based on accurate and timely analysi• Must have the ability to utilize firm technology to enhance client service• High stress tolerance -- thrives in a high-pressure environment• Ability to conform to shifting priorities, strong problem solving & prioritization skillsThe position requires related experience working in external relationship managementStrong organizational skills, attention to detail and flexibilityStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environmentSelf-driven individual, ability to work with minimal directionIf this sounds like the type of opportunity you see yourself transitioning into next, contact Julie Gross at 605-705-6836.
