We are looking for an Operations Specialist eager to have an impact at a high-growth SaaS company. You’ll be joining our growing (remote) team in Richmond, VA as we continue to expand across the country.

You’ll have the opportunity to support the Chief Operating Officer in managing a wide variety of company functions from Finance & HR, Customer Experience, Product, to Sales & Marketing teams. As a self-starter, you’re passionate about building and implementing processes, managing special projects, and going above and beyond to cultivate strong relationships and establish rapport with internal stakeholders, all with an eye toward scalability.

This role also involves collaborating closely with team leads across the organization to ensure alignment on priorities, streamline communication, and identify opportunities for operational improvements. You'll assist as a connector between departments, helping to surface insights, remove blockers, and keep initiatives on track. Your ability to anticipate needs, adapt quickly, and juggle competing priorities will be key to driving momentum and supporting company-wide growth.

What You'll Accomplish

  1. Oversight into Basic HR Compliance

  2. Ownership over Basic Financial Operations

  3. Reduction in C-Suite Operational Task Time

What You’ll Do:

  • Maintain recurring financial processes (billing, commission, transactional revenue, expense reimbursements, accounts receivable, operational budgeting)

  • Refine financial models and reports in conjunction with the Finance team

  • Develop and document new policies and procedures to enhance cross-departmental operational efficiency

  • Identify, implement, and document improvements to streamline workflows and processes

  • Assist with special project management activities, supporting their planning, execution, and monitoring

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, including all employee and state filings

  • Plan and schedule leadership and company-wide in-person meetings

  • Maintain hiring process documentation and tech stack  (ATS, onboarding software, payroll, benchmarking)

  • Oversee general onboarding for new hires before role-specific onboarding

  • Proactively advise on team build-out and hiring as needed

  • Contribute to leadership meetings, company-wide goals, culture, and strategies for growth.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on company policies to the Leadership Team.
