Supply Chain Specialist

The Supply Chain Clerk will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the supply chain function, ensuring seamless procurement, inventory tracking, and production scheduling in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with ERP systems (Sage X3) and Excel to manage supply chain data efficiently.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in procurement activities, including placing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, perform regular cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Support production scheduling by coordinating material availability with manufacturing schedules.
  • Enter and manage supply chain data in ERP systems (Sage X3) to ensure accurate reporting and real-time updates.
  • Prepare and maintain reports on inventory levels, procurement activities, and production timelines.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including manufacturing, quality control, and finance, to streamline supply chain operations.
  • Address supply chain issues proactively, working with suppliers and internal teams to resolve delays or shortages.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations regarding procurement and inventory management.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain process to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a supply chain, procurement, or inventory management role within a manufacturing environment.
  • ERP Experience: Familiarity with Sage X3 required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy in data entry and reporting.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot supply chain issues and implement solutions proactively.
  • Team Player: A collaborative attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

COMPENSATION AND CLASSIFICATION:

  • Classification: Contract position (Temp to Perm)
  • Location: Sunnyvale, CA
  • The pay range for this position is $ 20.00 - $45.00 hourly which represents the low and high end of the anticipated hourly range for this temporary position.
    • Please note that actual offer will vary based on factors including, but not limited to the candidate's geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors including internal equity. As such, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the lower or upper end of the range.
