Instructure is seeking a K12 Solutions Engineer to support sales efforts, providing strategic intelligence on educational technologies while delivering compelling product demonstrations. Responsibilities: Provide strategic technical support to sales, deliver engaging product demonstrations, communicate complex education technology concepts, mentor team members, and manage project progress.
Skills: Strong understanding of instructional best practices, technical sales experience in EdTech, dynamic presentation skills, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork orientation.
Qualifications: Experience in educational leadership or technical sales within an EdTech company, LMS or AMS admin experience, and technical knowledge of systems integration, SaaS, and APIs.
Location: Fully remote position with up to 60% travel requirement, preferably for candidates in the Mountain or Pacific Time zones.
Compensation: $95000 - $120000 / Annually

We are looking for an experienced, articulate, and energetic education technologist to become a K12 Solutions Engineer (SE). Solutions Engineers provide support to sales that leads to closing new deals. They work directly with Regional Sales Directors in the field to explain how our solutions support best practices in teaching and learning.
Solutions Engineers are the primary knowledge resource for all things technology and education as they relate to Canvas, Mastery Connect, Canvas Credentials, Impact and more. SEs are responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process. K12 SEs are the key instructional and technical advisors and product advocates, thoughtfully considering all alternatives to arrive at best recommendations.
This is a work from home/remote position. However, candidates must be willing to travel up to 60%. Preference for candidates working in Mountain or Pacific Time.

This position will include a commission structure taking the OTE to a range of $118k-150k.
