Job Description

We are seeking a US marketing lead to join our US Leadership team and drive Jellyfish awareness. This role is responsible for elevating the visibility of Jellyfish, leveraging all of our internal resources and tools. There is already so much to offer at Jellyfish between amazing clients, industry leading talent and thought leadership and internal creative capabilities, we are looking for the right marketing mind who can leverage all of it into positive business results. This role is critical to our business strategy, overseeing the US Marketing strategy and implementation.

This is a hybrid role based out of our New York City office(s). The salary range for this position based on experience is $110,000-150,000 USD annual.

 

Responsibilities:

Strategic Marketing Leadership

  • Public Relations (PR): Cultivate media relationships to amplify our Company story.
  • Thought Leadership: Oversee the creation of compelling POVs and white papers.
  • Develop and execute a forward-thinking marketing strategy for Jellyfish in the US, focusing on growth, expansion, and increased market penetration.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities in key areas, including:
  • Social Media Campaigns: Drive awareness and engagement through strategic social initiatives.
  • Events and Speaking Engagements: Position Jellyfish as an industry thought leader.
  • Awards and Case Studies: Showcase successes and innovation.
  • Marketing Materials: Oversee the production of high-impact collateral.

Content Creation & Campaign Management

  • Develop strong internal relationships to best identify talent and campaigns worthy of press and awards
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities in the Media/Creative space, translating insights into actionable strategies that maintain our competitive edge.
  • Ensure campaigns are data-driven, leveraging analytics to optimize performance and achieve measurable results.
  • Continuously analyze the performance of marketing efforts, preparing regular reports with key metrics, actionable insights, and opportunities for improvement.

Relationship Building & Representation

  • Build strong internal relationships to identify talent, campaigns, and innovations worthy of external promotion.
  • Confidently represent Jellyfish to prospective media and at industry events through face-to-face meetings, phone calls, emails, and social media.
  • Expand Jellyfish's professional network by building relationships with clients, partners, and industry influencers.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience leading Marketing within the Advertising space
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing integrated marketing strategies.
  • Connected with key publications, media outlets and event organizers
  • Ability to think critically, problem solve effectively and strategically recommend Jellyfish's offerings as solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to direct and develop, review and implement strategic marketing plans and initiatives
  • Ability to listen carefully, communicate effectively both in writing and verbally, and establish strong and effective working relationships with multiple teams servicing multiple industries, a broad variety of clients, and stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary to effectively negotiate, present ideas, and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • A deep understanding of business dynamics, market trends, and industry landscapes across the digital marketing ecosystem.
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills to establish and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and industry professionals.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
