Human Resources Associate

Astor & Sanders Corporation (Astor), an award-winning IT solutions provider located in McLean, VA is seeking a Human Resources Associate to administer, coordinate, support and perform HR activities and tasks. This is a full-time position located in Mclean, VA. 

 Roles and Responsibilities include: 

  • Responsible for providing support to Human Resources and payroll functions, i.e. benefits, compliance, records management.
  • Coordinate activities related to employee payroll.
  • Monitor project timelines and follow up on tasks and deadlines.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with employees. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Experience: 

  • 1–2 years of experience in an administrative or operations support role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR or a related field.
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & SharePoint). 

 

Skills: 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented. Excellent coordination skills are required. 
  • Ensures that all sensitive and personal information is protected and safeguarded. 
  • Must have a team player attitude. 
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization in a professional, diplomatic, and tactful manner.
