Remote in Los Angeles, New York, Austin, or Nashville


Role


Sales Development at DISCO is the foundation of our sales organization where new business opportunities come to life. As a Junior Sales Development Representative, you will have a great impact on growing our business by identifying sales opportunities and supporting the sales team. You’ll generate sales demand and pipeline revenue through inbound and outbound lead development. This is a unique SDR position as you will also perform demos and manage sales cycles for SMBs. We are looking for a highly energetic, super organized and positive individual to join our team!


Responsibilities


  • Generate new business pipelines and qualify new leads and opportunities
  • Cultivate strong relationships with prospects, follow processes, track leads, and move the right leads down the sales funnel at the right time
  • Assisting sales reps and AE’s through strategic prospecting efforts and extensive account research
  • Sourcing targeted leads through research, identifying potential companies and markets to contact based on specific criteria
  • Book and perform discovery calls, demos and presentations in a creative and engaging way
  • Manage all inquiries in our sales inbox queue, including billing inquires
  • Assist with creating sales presentations and proposals
  • Be a DISCO expert and help educate customers on the value of the platform in a thoughtful way
  • Keep our CRM (Pipedrive) updated, accurate, precise and thorough with customer information and sales-related activities through the sales cycle
  • Partnering with sales operations to assist in invoicing, pulling reports and updating source information


Requirements


  • At least 1 year of demonstrated experience in sales, business development or a promotions role in SaaS, SMB, high-growth startups or the music/media industry.
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Consistent track record of high performance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a tech-savvy approach. e.g, Familiar with CRM maintenance/updates and learning new software and tools quickly
  • Strong interest in a career in sales
