The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the preparation of SEC filings (e.g., 10-K, 10-Qs, 8-K) and disclosure checklists. This role is critical in ensuring that the company complies with all financial policies, US GAAP, and SEC-related reporting requirements.Key Responsibilities:• SEC Filings: Prepare and review SEC filings, including 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.• Disclosure Checklists: Maintain and update disclosure checklists to ensure all necessary information is included in filings.• Compliance: Ensure the company is in compliance with all financial policies, US GAAP, and SEC-related reporting requirements.• Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.• Internal Controls: Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial records.• Audit Coordination: Coordinate with external auditors during audits and reviews, providing necessary documentation and support.• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting function.Qualifications:• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on SEC filings and compliance.• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and financial policies.
