This is a paid summer internship position/legal summer clerk that will provide exposure to a corporate legal department and allow you to learn about Kodiak, a growing midstream provider. This position is for 13 weeks starting approximately May 12 and ending approximately August 7. The position is for a rising 2L or 3L. As an intern with our Legal department, you will be exposed to a wide range of projects that would be typical for a generalist in-house counsel, including commercial/contracts, corporate secretarial, litigation/claims, and more. You will work closely with our entire department, assisting two or more attorneys and other team members with administrative and legal matters. You will gain hands-on experience reviewing, proofreading, and redlining contracts, letters, and other legal documents.
Duties & Responsibilities
Your job responsibilities and projects will be based on your experience and educational background, providing real-life applications of your classroom knowledge. You’ll work closely with a mentor to ensure your developmental goals are met and that you meet your performance expectations.
