Job Description

Join our team as a Delivery Driver in Tampa, Florida! We're looking for a friendly and efficient individual to ensure timely and accurate deliveries to our valued customers throughout the central FL area.

Load, transport, and deliver packages to our commercial addresses, optimizing routes for maximum efficiency
Operate and maintain delivery vehicles safely, adhering to traffic laws and company policies
Provide excellent customer service, including verifying delivery information, processing payments, and addressing inquiries
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
Assist with loading and unloading packages at the distribution center
Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

High School Diploma or GED
Must be 21 years of age
Valid Driver's License with ability to meet insurance requirements is required
Prior experience working with the public or in a delivery role preferred
Proven ability to engage positively with customers via experience working with the public or in a delivery role
Resourceful, collaborative team player with the ability to also self-manage time and thrive independently
Ability to lift or move up to 70 lbs. unassisted
Must participate in a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen.

Additional Information

Shift & Hours:

Monday – Friday

6:30AM-5PM Start time (daily schedule may vary between 8-10 hour days based on volume of work)

Compensation:

Hourly rate ranging $ 16- $ 17, based on experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, This position requires sitting, standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, climbing, and ascending/descending stairs. Requires sitting for relatively long periods of time, while driving. It also requires frequent bending, climbing, movement, and lifting of up to 75 pounds during the physical loading/unloading of vehicles and when stocking products. Specific vision ability required by this job includes close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
