Position: Field Inspector


Job Description: The Field Inspector (FI) plays a vital role in ensuring seamless coordination between insurance adjusters, customers, and internal teams such as Project Coordinators, Assignment Coordinators, Sales Representatives, the Production Department, and the Supplement Team. By managing inspections, ensuring compliance with building codes, project specifications, and safety standards, documenting claims, and facilitating communication, the Field Inspector ensures that all necessary information is captured and shared to drive efficient project execution and customer satisfaction. 


Key Responsibilities
  •  Review all pertinent information (photos, notes, etc.) for new customers as they come in from their SR Team and fill in any gaps around insurance information missing (Adjuster Information, Hail Mapping etc.)
  • Gather and document any additional needed information in the field, on site. (Photos, recordings, files, etc)
  • Communicate with SR around retail opportunities.
  • Responsible for ensuring the adjuster meeting is scheduled and completed quickly according to SRNR SOP’s. Achieve results in alignment with defined monthly quotas including, but not limited to the following: appointments run, initial inspection buyrate, reinspection buyrate, ITEL processes, repair tests processes, communication to all stake holders, scheduling deadlines.
  • Arrive early for scheduled adjuster appointments, and work with insurance adjusters to get agreement on scope of work and pricing (platform, price list, scope). Arriving early is critical to achieving the best outcomes and to a positive customer experience.
  • Communicate the results of the adjuster meeting (all details) real-time to the SR and Supplement Team and update all systems (Acculynx, BuyRate etc.)
  • Submit the job documentation into Acculynx for job submission per SRNR standards (all paperwork, photo-documentation, notes, measurements and pertinent details).
  • Provide information and documentation to the SR and Supplement teams to get a price agreement finalized with the insurance company as needed (including all supplements, reinspection photos, etc.).
  • Provide all construction details pertinent for Production to properly plan and execute repairs according to the damages present, all pre-existing conditions of the home, local building code requirements, and the agreement with the customer.
  • Investigate complaints or concerns raised by stakeholders and work with teams to resolve issues promptly; Identify potential issues or risks related to construction quality, safety, or schedule and recommend corrective actions.
  • Enforce safety standards and practices on construction sites to minimize risks and ensure the safety of workers.
  • Monitor construction progress against project timelines and milestones, reporting any delays or issues that could affect the overall project schedule.
  • Perform Itel shingle removals, ensuring tarps are properly installed over damaged areas.
  • Conduct repair attempts on roofing systems as required.
  • Work Saturdays as required during high-volume periods. Work extended hours during high volume periods.


Requirements
  • Availability on Saturdays as needed
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. overhead.
  • Must be comfortable climbing steep roofing systems. Steep defined as over 7/12 + roofing pitch.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to address issues promptly and effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems like AccuLynx.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with construction documents.
  • Proficiency using inspection tools.
  • Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, inspection procedures, roofing systems, building codes, and construction processes and practices.
