We are looking for a pilot to join a dynamic flight operations team that supports worldwide fighter aircraft production.What You Will Be DoingThe Greenville Flight Operations Coordinator, reporting to the Chief Production and Training Pilot, will support all aspects of flight operations in support of post-production acceptance flying at the Greenville South Carolina F-16 Block 70 Final Assembly and Checkout (FACO).This is a non-flying position with the potential to move to a flying role at a later time.Your Responsibilities Will Include:• Primary Point of Contact (POC) for all matters related to flight operations support for Greenville Site F-16 production, ensuring production acceptance flights are executed safely in accordance with DCMA Instructions, LM Aero Codes, and any applicable regulations.Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To:• Coordinate and direct the activities of personnel as related to the support of production operations.• Function as primary liaison with all internal and external entities (e.g. Greenville Site production operations, flight safety, F-16 Block 70 program leadership, foreign military customers, program offices, and DCMA representatives, etc.…), as tasked, on issues affecting on-site flight operations planning, execution, budget, facilities, personnel, technical, and administrative requirements.• Develop plans to support production flight operations.• Oversee flight operations, to include Acceptance Check Flights, Operational Check Flights, Confidence Flights, Delivery Flights, and others as assigned.• Advise, coordinate and schedule with program management and production operations aircrew support and requirements for all flight operations.• Author and manage the Greenville Flight Operations Site Supplement and Procedures. Ensure compliance with customer, company, and program requirements relative to production flight operations.• Identify, develop, and report findings, proposals and opportunities affecting production acceptance operations.• Coordinate and manage all annual or regularly scheduled production flight operations inspections.• Advise and assist Production Program Management on all requirements related to flight operations.• Act as on-site Supervisor of Flying (SOF), Operations Duty Officer (ODO), etc.• Act as on-site LM Flight Operations Mishap Coordinator.• As required, travel to Italy and/or Japan to support F-35 International production operations.• *Must be a US Citizen.
