We value and share an infinite range of ideas and voices that evolve and broaden our perspectives with a reach that extends into all our brands, partners, and suppliers.The Opportunity:The Mattel Global Media Team is seeking a Media Manager that will be responsible for the strategic planning, execution, measurement, and optimization process for the media of the Fisher Price business unit.The right person for this role is passionate about media strategy, investment, and analytics. They will be a media expert that the organization can rely on to analyze media spending for accountability to business objectives. You will be working with brand teams, cross functional teams at Mattel as well as overseeing our partner media agency.What Your Impact Will Be:• Lead our partner media agency in all aspects of strategic planning for the Fisher Price Mattel business unit. This includes the creation of plans, assessing performance, driving optimizations to maximize efforts and reporting. Oversee 5 media agency FTE’s and partner with the media agency to deliver media performance improvement.• Leverage data including Market Mix Modeling, retail sales, competitive insights, and consumer insights to create media strategies and media optimizations.• Partner with internal teams to leverage data to identify audience segments• Partner with the global marketing team, and the regional marketing teams to develop media strategies to drive our business• Collaborate with cross functional teams on integrated communication plans that drive our business – inclusive of product and content support to ensure engagement with our consumers.• Understand how media and creative work together to deliver better results• Stay up to date with media trends, potential new channels and strategies to continue pushing Mattel as a high-performing toy company• Lead the media department as a subject matter expert on social and programmatic mediaWhat We’re Looking For:• Bachelor's Degree required• 6+ years integrated media planning experience required. Toy/Kid, Entertainment or Retail experience a plus.• Must be a very strong communicator – verbal and written• Team player/mentality• Flexible, able to pivot in real-time given fast-paced, changing environment Detail-oriented with strong attention to details and follow throughThe annual base salary range for this position is between $96,800.00 and $147,000.00.• *This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however annual base salary will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.Don’t meet every single requirement?
