This role is ideally based in Auckland, but we are open to candidates based in other NZTE office locations in New Zealand.

 Te Taurapa Tūhono | New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) is the government agency charged with helping New Zealand businesses to grow internationally.  


This role falls within our Customer Solutions Group (CSG). CSG provides fast and flexible matching of expertise, knowledge and experiences to support exporters grow successful international businesses. 

 


What you’ll be doing - Te whakamahere  

 

As Business Advisor for CSG you will provide integral advice and support to enable our Customer Solutions Leadership and wider CSG Team to deliver impact for export customers. The purpose of this role is to provide effective and proactive strategic, advisory, team and project oversight to the General Manager and the Customer Solutions Group Leadership Team to scale and create more impact. With a unique, holistic viewpoint, the Business Advisor acts as a key point of contact for CSG and the wider organisation as we continue to evolve our solutions and delivery model.

What you’ll need to be successful – Ō Pūkenga 

 

-          You will have a strategic mindset with the ability to analyse data and draw insight to inform our strategy and to optimise the solutions we deliver to customers

-          You will be skilled at process improvement and project management. You ideally will have experience in data projects and can think long term as well as identify and deliver quick wins to improve customer experience.

-          Confident at communicating, you will be a voice on the leadership team, articulating opportunities on where we can improve or create better value for our customers.

-          You will be naturally collaborative in your style and be able to build positive relationships with different groups across CSG and the wider organisation. You will lead through influence, be great at storytelling and skilled at having honest conversations and challenging others with confidence.

-          You will be flexible and able to juggle multiple priorities, eliminating roadblocks and not losing sight of the bigger picture.
