Acquisitions Manager, Podcasts

Patreon is the best place for creators to build exclusive content and community for their fans. We enable creators (podcasters, writers, musicians, illustrators, etc) to connect with their fans directly and make money from their creative work. Creators can sell one-off items from their own shops or offer recurring monthly memberships with exclusive access to their work.

There are over 250,000 active creators earning on Patreon and over 10 million members. Our goal has always been to help creators achieve financial freedom doing what they love - and we're leaders in the space, having sent over $3.5 billion to creators since our inception. We’re continuing to invest heavily in building the most talented team in the Creator Economy and are looking for an Acquisitions Manager to support our acquisition efforts for podcast creators.

This role can be based in Los Angeles or New York and open to those who are able to occasionally travel to our San Francisco office.

About the Role

  • Own and drive a robust pipeline of mid-market podcast creators, enabling them to launch their memberships on Patreon

  • Leverage your personal podcast network to find points of contact and forge relationships with key players in the podcast space

  • Execute on sequenced acquisition email campaigns on a daily basis

  • Lead sales calls with mid-market podcast creators with subject-matter expertise in launching and growing a subscription business

  • Manage pipeline via CRM reporting & tracking

  • Stay informed & communicate to the team on latest emerging trends in the creator economy with proposed acquisition targets and actionable leads

About You

  • 4-5 years of experience working in the creator space, specifically working with podcast creators across audio and video

  • Experience collaborating with Legal, Data Science, Marketing, and Finance teams and using data-backed strategies to inform strategic decision-making.

  • Deep passion for the creator economy, podcasting & the intersection of social video platforms, and creators in general

  • Take pride in putting creators first

  • Highly motivated, energized by project management, and excels in a fast paced environment working alongside a growing team

  • Extraordinary organizational skills, multitasking skills, and remain detail-oriented at all times.
