While our historical digital revenue has primarily come from direct sold inventory, we are now expanding into programmatic advertising to unlock new opportunities and revenue streams.


Fortune Media is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Programmatic Sales leader who can thrive as a player coach to lead our programmatic sales efforts and build a high-performing team. In this newly created role, you will play a pivotal role in diversifying and growing our digital advertising revenue through programmatic channels.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Programmatic Revenue Growth: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to grow programmatic advertising revenue, leveraging data-driven insights and industry trends.

2. Sales Development: Personally drive programmatic sales efforts by establishing and nurturing relationships with key advertisers, agencies, and demand partners.

3. Market Analysis: Continuously monitor market dynamics, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.

4. Ad Tech Liaison: Work closely with Tech and Digital Revenue Ops teams as they oversee selection of and mgmt. of ad tech platforms, ensuring they align with revenue objectives to deliver maximum ROI.

5. Team Building: In addition to developing an individual book of business, a likely opportunity to build and manage a small team of programmatic sellers; guiding & coaching to achieve targets.

6. Performance Metrics: Work closely with Account Management to define and track key performance metrics for programmatic sales, regularly reporting progress and optimizing as needed.

7. Collaboration: Work closely with the direct sales team to ensure a cohesive approach to revenue generation and maximize cross-selling opportunities.


Qualifications:


- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).

- Proven experience in programmatic advertising sales with a track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.

- Must have existing programmatic contacts/relationships at large and mid-size agencies.

- Strong leadership and team-building skills.

- In-depth knowledge of programmatic advertising technologies and platforms.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.

- A forward-thinking approach to adapt to the evolving digital advertising landscape.

- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with start-up mentality

Base salary range: $150,000 - $175,000. Additional compensation offered.
