Senior Graphic Designer - job 1 of 5

Our client, a leading private equity firm, is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Senior Graphic Designer to craft high-quality presentations that effectively convey data, insights, and messaging. In this role, you will create visually compelling materials—including slide decks, digital graphics, and other media—to communicate complex ideas to both internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has advanced expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint and a strong understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and composition. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is required, and familiarity with motion graphics, video editing, or interactive design tools (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro, Figma) is a plus.

While experience in finance, private equity, or corporate environments is beneficial, we are primarily looking for a designer with a keen eye for detail and the ability to transform data-heavy content into polished, audience-focused presentations.

Location: Fully Remote (Work from Home)

Key Responsibilities

Design & Development:

  • Conceptualize and design engaging, high-quality presentation decks in Microsoft PowerPoint.

  • Create supporting visuals such as infographics, charts, graphs, and iconography to simplify data and illustrate key concepts.

  • Develop cohesive branding themes and styles that align with organizational guidelines.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, objectives, and content for presentations.

  • Translate technical or data-heavy content into visually compelling stories.

  • Present design concepts and ideas to stakeholders, gathering feedback and iterating on designs as needed.

Project Management:

  • Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of final assets.

  • Maintain organized files and document design processes and brand guidelines.

  • Collaborate with team members to streamline production workflows and ensure consistency in visual materials.

Innovation & Trends:

  • Stay up-to-date with presentation design trends, software updates, and industry best practices.

  • Experiment with new tools and techniques to continuously enhance the quality of visual communications.

  • Recommend improvements to design processes and internal workflows to increase efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

 Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field.

  • Demonstrable portfolio showcasing high-impact presentations and design solutions.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

  • Familiarity with video editing, motion graphics, or interactive design tools (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro, Figma, etc.) is a plus.

Design & Aesthetic Sensibility:

  • Strong understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and composition.

  • Ability to create visually appealing designs that are also functional and audience-focused.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions.

  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.

  • Capacity to adapt to fast-paced environments and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
