About the Role
maintain the quality and accuracy of the national routing codes for assigned countries. This position is the subject matter expert for the payment's information for the assigned territory.
***This is a hybrid role that requires team members to go into the Evanston, IL office location 2 days a week***
Responsibilities:
Collect and maintain bank codes for assigned countries and/or payment systems by processing adds/changes/deletes from periodic loading of national routing codes. QC data that has been loaded; resolve any discrepancies.
Maintain national routing codes by entering data manually into the database, as needed.
Respond to all internal and external customer inquiries regarding International Payment products and data.
Investigate sources for national country codes for countries in assigned region.
Research and obtain current and comprehensive payment system information for assigned countries.
Maintain documentation of routing code update procedures for assigned countries as necessary and review annually.
Use multiple approaches such as emails, phone calls and research online to obtain data in response to inquiries, code collection and projects, as needed.
Resolve any data errors resulting from QC reports (daily).
Collaborate with other data teams for code update and resolve issues as necessary
Provide back-up for critical tasks.

Qualifications Required:
Strong analytical skills
Fluency in Portuguese and Spanish (spoken and written); Organized, detail-oriented, analytical with an eye for detail
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with ability to work overtime
Able to independently make decisions, solve problems and handle many tasks at once
Self-motivated, reliable, proficient at working independently as well as in a team
Proactive approach in research of various secondary sources
Able to work with PCs and relational databases (e.g. Access, etc); ability to run reports and queries a plus.
Flexibility in working hours
Bachelor's degree preferred
