Position Overview

Sayari is looking for a Director of Communications to lead our communications and public relations strategy. This role will be responsible for the design, execution, and measurement of campaigns across marketing communications channels in an effort to raise brand awareness, strengthen market presence, and align efforts with other marketing disciplines and across company business units.



Job Responsibilities:
  • With leadership, design and manage the company’s overall communication strategy
  • Establish and run a cohesive, multi-channel communications strategy, aligning with other marketing teams to ensure integrated campaigns.
  • Build on existing public relations program, continuing to establish relationships and opportunities with members of the press
  • Proactively search for and pursue outbound media opportunities on behalf of Sayari
  • Facilitate and coordinate all communications activities across stakeholder groups, balancing opportunities with internal resourcing capabilities
  • Maximize impact by maintaining a clear understanding of the scope and reach of opportunities, and evaluating and advising on ROI
  • Draft, review, and publish press releases, bylines, op-eds, submissions and other forms of thought leadership content across different media formats
  • Regularly scope award and speaking opportunities
  • Ensure quality and adherence to the brand voice and mission in all endeavors
  • Work with leadership to manage crises or sensitive situations quickly and professionally
  • Establish and regularly measure against individual, team, and organization level KPIs


Skills & Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in a communications or public relations role
  • Proven media relations competency, with B2B and government experience are strongly valued.
  • Ability to coordinate between Marketing, Solutions, and Product teams to align content strategy with business needs
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple strategic multi-channel campaigns
  • Ability to track, measure, and optimize content performance with a focus on generating leads and creating new opportunities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in developing targeted content for various audiences
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, project management tools, and PR analytics platforms
  • Strong organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to quickly process information and respond to rapid organizational and market movement
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or related field preferred


$150,000 - $175,000 a year
The target base salary for this position is $150,000-$175,000 plus bonus and equity. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, candidate experience and expertise, internal peer equity, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
