Senior Creative Designer

Skin + Me is a mission driven start-up with seriously big skin goals. We’re looking for an experienced Senior Designer to join our Creative & Brand Team in London. This is a hybrid working role with three days a week in our London Paddington HQ (Mon, Tue, Fri) and two days remote.

What you’ll do:
Reporting into the Creative Lead, you’ll work closely with our Growth Marketing Team to create exciting, effective, engaging and on-brand marketing campaigns, across all channels. This includes paid social, CRM, affiliates, and print marketing. You will:

  • Lead projects from conception to completion, ensuring brand autonomy and alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to deliver the most effective ways to hit our goals.
  • Support the Creative Lead to incorporate AI integrations to improve team efficiency and ensure upskilling where needed.
  • Mentor and guide junior members of the team with day-to-day tasks ensuring best practices are followed by providing constructive feedback and signing off on deliverables to ensure quality and consistency. 
  • Effectively managing and prioritising multiple design projects.
  • Working with our copywriters, growth, brand and social teams to deliver engaging and on-brand content across all our channels.
  • Designing and delivering print-ready artwork including pack design, promotional, and press artwork.
  • Supporting art direction, casting, styling, and post-production for brand photoshoots.
  • Commissioning and briefing external contractors like designers, photographers, videographers, and product designers to ensure we’re always bringing fresh and engaging content.
  • Being a brand guardian and a brand champion, ensuring high-quality, consistent creative across all touchpoints.

Who you are: 

Requirements

  • Highly proficient in graphic design platforms and tools, with expert knowledge of Adobe Suite.
  • Adept at prioritising and managing time effectively to consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a keen eye for detail and demonstrating flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
  • A creative problem-solver who thrives in a collaborative environment and always brings ideas to the table
  • Ability to marry art (creative) and science (data). It's essential that you are confident understanding data, reporting your findings and applying it to future projects and creative
  • You’ve had experience in a studio environment, producing content film and photography
  • You are a natural leader and confident communicator, capable of motivating and influencing your colleagues with positive and passionate energy. 
  • Comfortable with responsibility and accountability both in your creative work and project management.

Desirable

  • Experience working in the beauty, wellness or skincare industry.
  • Film and photography knowledge and interest — experience using a camera to capture high-quality stills and video content, with a strong eye for composition, lighting, and style. We have a small in-house studio where we regularly shoot for our social channels, so having the interest, vision (and practical skills) to plan, film, and direct best-in-class content is a huge plus.
  • Experience designing for subscription acquisition/retention, and membership user experiences
  • 3D, Blender, Firefly, video editing and motion graphics.
  • Visual Merchandising design experience.
