About Our Team

We are a small and productive team, looking for an enthusiastic and enterprising Social Media Intern to work within the company to develop and deploy content marketing campaigns. Beautiful.ai is creating software that enables even the least design-inclined to build beautiful presentations. If you are interested in working directly with senior leadership, getting a real-life marketing education from thought leaders in the area, and value collaboration and teamwork, we want to hear from you.

Contract Requirements

A 3-month minimum commitment is required for all internships, but 16+ weeks is highly preferred. You will be required to work at least 12 hours per week and attend a weekly meeting on Friday mornings. 

Please Note

While this role is fully remote, candidates residing in PST and MST time zones will be strongly preferred for this role.

What you will do

Your first focus will be on social media - Strategy, posting, and optimization. You will feed into Beautiful.ai's official social accounts and social first campaigns including TikTok, Instagram, X (Twitter), Youtube, and LinkedIn. You will research and monitor trends within marketing and design, specifically for SaaS based software.

Requirements

• Open to Junior/Senior or Graduate Students with Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business majors
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Compelling writing skills and proficiency in non-academic writing, with a very strong grasp of English grammar, editing, and familiarity with AP Style 
• Willingness to learn about the overall importance of effective content for a successful marketing campaign. 
• Basic understanding of social media and how to optimize content
• Ability to efficiently prioritize tasks, organize projects, and multitask 
• Proficient at developing and editing content that includes as well as social media campaigns
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting 
• Impeccable attention to detail 
• Willingness to be in video content

Roles and Responsibilities

• Create content for and manage social channels for our LinkedIn, X (Twitter), TikTok, Instagram, YouTube
• Research and engage with influencers
• Engage with social posts & articles
• Repurpose long-form content into engaging, channel specific content i.e.
• Schedule social posts
• Work collaboratively with the marketing team to identify social trends
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop social content and posts
• Assist with sourcing visual assets across marketing campaigns

We are happy to share our set the target salary range for the seniority level outlined in all of our job descriptions. Candidates should keep in mind that the final offer will depend on multiple factors such as: your valuable experience and expertise, geographic location, overall compensation, and prevailing market rates. 

Remote - USA Pay Range

$20—$20 USD
