UX/UI Designer - eCommerce

Our client, a large ecommerce marketplace, is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sr. UX/UI Designer – eCommerce for a remote contract through EOY. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the user experience and interface for critical parts of the customer journey, including cart, checkout, checkout success, and order detail views. You will design intuitive, visually compelling, and seamless experiences across multiple platforms—native mobile, mobile web, and desktop. Working closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and stakeholders, you’ll help drive conversion and customer satisfaction by creating frictionless and elegant commerce experiences.• This is a remote role working any US time zone and will be a full-time contract through end of 2025.Responsibilities:• Lead the UX/UI design for key eCommerce flows such as cart, checkout, checkout success, and order details.• Design for cross-platform experiences including native mobile (iOS/Android), mobile web, and desktop.• Translate business goals and user needs into wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.• Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to bring designs to life with high fidelity and functionality.• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design concepts and iterate based on feedback.• Maintain and contribute to design systems, ensuring consistency and scalability across platforms.• Use data and analytics to inform design decisions and continuously optimize user journeys.• Advocate for user-centered design principles and accessibility standards throughout the product lifecycle.• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX/UI and eCommerce.Required Qualifications:• 5+ years of UX/UI design experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating work in eCommerce.• Proven experience designing for checkout, cart, or other high-conversion eCommerce flows.• Expertise in designing across platforms—native mobile apps, responsive web, and desktop.• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.• Strong understanding of interaction design, usability principles, and user-centered design methodologies.• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to present and explain design decisions clearly.• Experience working in agile product development environments.• Familiarity with A/B testing, data analytics, and how to use metrics to guide design.If you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.The Solomon Page DistinctionSolomon Page offers a comprehensive benefit program for hourly employees.
