Who we are looking for -
Alpha Platform is looking for an experienced risk professional to join their Business Risk Management (BRM) team. A candidate for this position is expected to work in a fast-paced environment akin to a commercial software company in order to meet the expectations of this rapidly growing business. Risk management skills, especially those acquired at G-SIFI organizations and/or large public accounting firms, balanced with technology and data skills will contribute to a candidate’s success in this position. This is a full-time position located at our Burlington, Massachusetts office.

Salary Range:
$80,000 - $132,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.

Alpha Platform is on the lookout for a dynamic Alpha Platform Business Risk Management, AVP to enrich our Business Risk Management (BRM) team in Burlington, Massachusetts. In this exciting role, you will immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of a fast-paced environment similar to that of a commercial software company, bringing your expertise to help us navigate the complexities of risk management. A successful candidate will possess a blend of risk management skills, ideally honed in G-SIFI organizations or significant public accounting firms, combined with a strong acumen in technology and data analytics. You will work closely with the team to dissect and assess risks associated with our business and tech processes, testing the design and effectiveness of controls, and tackling any identified control issues. Your proactive partnership approach will guide the business through the exciting challenges of new technology and processes. Additionally, you'll play a key role in executing business risk programs, overseeing critical reports, and managing issue and incident responses. We value a self-starter with excellent analytical skills, a knack for prioritizing tasks, and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. A robust educational background in information systems or a related field, alongside experience with industry risk frameworks and technical tools, will set you up for success.
