Help us build a luxury-focused FinTech in Travel Rewards space! Taekus is looking for a Compliance Specialist to manage our compliance initiatives to support our customers and with our premium user experience. As a fast-growing FinTech with $70m revenue-run-rate, we have increasing complexities in our product offering and compliance requirements. We need someone with a hustle mentality to help shape our compliance department efficiency. You will be reporting to our Head of Compliance.
Your Responsibilities
Support leadership in identifying, documenting, and rating controls and risks as part of the Risk Assessment program.
Partner with complaint management including track, analyze, and address customer complaints related to the Taekus debit and credit, ensuring timely resolution and compliance with regulatory expectations.
Respond to bank, audit, partner bank, and regulatory requests.
Identify compliance gaps or issues and work cross-functionally to implement corrective actions to ensure a well-integrated approach to regulator compliance.
Review escalations from key compliance processes based on defined risk thresholds.
Investigate and escalate potential alerts and suspicious transactions in accordance with AML and fraud prevention policies.
Support day-to-day compliance operations for the credit and debit card product lines while maintaining program compliance with regulatory standards.
Contribute to oversight and management committees on the state of compliance risk and prepare reporting materials.
What you bring to the table
Bachelor's degree. Preferred CRCM, CAMS, or similar certifications.
2-4 years of compliance experience in credit, banking, fintech, or other financial regulatory compliance industry with a focus on credit card regulatory compliance.
Possess understanding of credit and banking laws and regulations including BSA/AML, UDAAP, ECOA, MLA/SCRA, FCRA, TILA TISA, and associated regulations.
Ability to identify potential compliance issues and work effectively to remediate them.
Demonstrate a track record of supporting key Compliance initiatives.
