Responsibilities: Serve as a positive role model, provide homework assistance, engage with students through lesson plans, and promote positive behavior choices.
Skills: Strong communication skills in both written and verbal English, experience in educational or recreational settings, and advanced Math and English proficiency are required.
Qualifications: Must have 48 college semester units or 60 college quarter units, or a Bachelor’s Degree; must be at least 22 years old; preference for bi-literate candidates in Spanish.
Location: Position is based in Reseda, CA, USA, with no additional travel required.
Compensation: $24 - $24 / Hourly

Pay Rate: $24/hourOlder Youth Leaders (OYLS) work directly with an assigned class of approximately 20-25 students, acting as a positive adult role model, coach, and mentor. Older youth Leaders must have a genuine interest in the growth, development, and provision of a safe and nurturing environment for the students they teach. An older youth Leader’s ability to establish authority through leadership, communication, and most importantly patience, will be required in giving our students the stability and nurturing atmosphere they need to succeed. Ensuring that Think Together students reach their potential takes a tremendous amount of hard work, flexibility, and commitment.
