General Role Description
Expedite and track equipment purchases to ensure on-time delivery
Role Accountabilities
- Obtain and confirm promise dates and country of origin data from suppliers and enter data into the ERP system
- Verify product delivery is on schedule as promised by the supplier and/or requested on the purchase order
- Identify suppliers’ potential delivery issues and communicate with suppliers and internal clients to resolve
- Expedite equipment as required by business units, Sourcing or Project Coordination, and at suppliers’ manufacturing facilities if assigned by management
- Conduct weekly expediting meetings with various suppliers as required by business units, Sourcing, or Project Coordination
- Generate predefined reports from the ERP to track shipments
- Process requisitions and purchase orders as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of experience working in a sourcing or purchasing environment.
- Demonstrated successful and positive personal leadership, interpersonal, administrative, organizational, and
communication skills
- Demonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contacts
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Availability to travel domestically less than 10%
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Oracle ERP
- More than 2 years of experience in a sourcing or purchasing environment
