  • Salary:  $17.00/hour - $23.50/hour based on experience + benefits 
  • Schedule:  Overnight shift   / Full-time
  • Shift:  11:00 pm - 7:00 am with every other weekend rotation

A little more about our center:

The Terrace is a classic Skilled Nursing Facility that has 115 beds, with a heavy emphasis on long term resident care and a small, but growing, short-term rehab unit.  This close-knit team is welcoming and always willing to jump in to help out when you need it.  What makes us unique: 

  • 4-Star Quality measures
  • 30% of our residents are late stage memory care patients.  NOTE:  we are one of the only nursing homes in the area with specialized dementia programming.
  • We have a busy Activities Department that keeps our residents engaged with low level sensory rooms, cognitive therapeutic games, regular entertainment and cooking classes.
  • There is a bus stop located in front of the center and many apartment homes nearby if you want to move closer to work.

The National Association of Rehab Providers & Agencies (NARA) awarded Transitional Care Management their “Impact Award” for 2023 for our Life Skills Programming.  This center is using that very same “Life Skills Program” and changing lives every day.  Ask us about it during your interview – we’d be delighted to share our Social Services success stories.  It’s so much more than what your current Psych/Social team is doing now!

Job Description

What you will do in this role:   In our facility we feel the CNA is pivotal to the satisfaction of a patient/”Guest”.  CNAs make a direct impact on a patient’s recovery and stay.  You will help patients reach their goals and work side by side with a highly skilled multidisciplinary team. 

Our CNAs are awesome; they do whatever is needed to make the patient more comfortable.

Qualifications

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA): Some times called a Certified Nurse (or Nurse’s) Assistant or Aide.

What we need from you:

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in IL
  • Prior experience in skilled nursing facility or intermediate care facility is ideal, but newly certified grads are welcome
  • Electronic medical records experience (Point Click Care) is helpful

These settings include Long-term Care Skilled Nursing (SNFs), Short-term Care Rehabilitation, Intermediate Care (ICFs), and Behavioral Health Service (SMHRFs) centers.
