Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Semi-Senior Mobile Device Management (MDM) Engineer to oversee the administration, support, and security of enrolled mobile devices across iOS, Android, and ChromeOS platforms. This role involves managing WorkspaceONE MDM, providing technical support, ensuring compliance, and working closely with internal teams and third-party vendors to maintain and enhance mobile device infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • MDM Management & Support:

    • Support and manage mobile device enrollment, policy enforcement, and configuration within WorkspaceONE MDM.

    • Assist in handling MDM-related requests and provide Level 2 support for MDM incidents.

    • Enforce security compliance, password policies, and remote management features (wipe, lock/unlock, selective wipe).

    • Manage the App Catalog and application publishing through MDM platforms.

    • Generate MDM performance and compliance reports for management and stakeholders.

    • Assist in mobile security incident response, working with Security teams to address vulnerabilities.

  • Infrastructure & Configuration Management:

    • Help maintain the on-premise WorkspaceONE MDM infrastructure, including performing application updates and reviewing system logs.

    • Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions within the MDM environment.

    • Implement compliance policies, access controls, and application management settings.

    • Assist in renewing APNS certificates for iOS device management.

    • Participate in implementing new MDM features, policies, and improvements.

  • Mobile Application Management:

    • Publish and manage mobile applications within the WorkspaceONE MDM ecosystem.

    • Work with engineering teams to onboard new applications, ensuring feasibility and security compliance.

  • End User & Technical Support:

    • Document and maintain EMM support procedures aligned with company policies.

    • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for MDM-related issues and troubleshoot provisioning problems.

    • Assist end users in registering and configuring their mobile devices in the MDM solution.

    • Act as a liaison between the client and third-party EMM vendors to resolve issues.

    • Generate reports and provide trend analysis on MDM performance and support requests.

  • Additional Responsibilities (MobileIron MDM):

    • Support Chrome URL whitelisting for Android tablets.

    • Manage and generate QR codes for Android tablet deployments.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

  • To be based in São Paulo, Brazil, with a willingness to work on-site three days per week.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required.

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in MDM administration using WorkspaceONE MDM, MobileIron, Intune, or a similar platform.

  • Strong knowledge of iOS, Android, and ChromeOS device management.

  • Experience with MDM security policies, compliance enforcement, and incident resolution.

  • Hands-on experience with user access controls, compliance policies, and role-based administration.

  • Familiarity with mobile application publishing, configuration, and troubleshooting.

  • Ability to analyze MDM trends and generate reports for stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
