Venatus is looking for a Lead QA Engineer to drive the quality assurance strategy and execution for Venatus suite of products. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software through leadership, test planning, automation, and continuous improvement.
Design and develop automated testing frameworks for the different components of the Venatus tech platform - from front end to back end to data pipelines
Develop, implement, and oversee test strategies, plans, and processes to ensure high-quality software releases.
Design and execute automated test cases, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
Lead and manage a team of QA engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance feedback.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, product management, DevOps) to identify and resolve quality issues.
Establish and monitor key quality metrics, driving continuous improvement in test effectiveness and efficiency.
Stay up-to-date with emerging QA tools, trends, and best practices to enhance the testing process.
Advocate for quality standards and practices across the software development lifecycle.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior role.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, SQL) and building custom end to end automation tools
Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
Experience with testing data pipelines.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative mindset.
Experience in digital advertising or AdTech is a plus.
