Scrum Master

We’re a growing team, and as we scale, so does our need to focus on expanding our Customer Operations team. You’ll be joining a people-focused company, and as a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for facilitating team collaboration, help with removing impediments, ensuring timely delivery, and supporting continuous improvement. Scrum Master also work closely with the stakeholders to align the team's goals and expectations.


THE OPPORTUNITY
  •  Lead team meetings to discuss progress and challenges, such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective.
  • Ensure efficient distribution of tasks and track daily progress using tools like Jira and Confluence. Communicate the team's sprint status, risks, and dependencies to the Project Manager, Technical Engagement Manager, and other stakeholders.
  • Set up best ways of working for team and help to secure fulfillment.
  • Drive improvements across the company by promoting agile best practices, coaching the team on self-organization and cross-functionality, and fostering a culture of feedback and learning.
  • Contribute to project updates and share the team's achievements, challenges, and learnings with other Scrum Masters and managers.
  • Secure template-based Jira project creation and ensure that the team follows the agreed-upon workflow and standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Technical Engagement Manager or the management.


THE SKILL SET
  •  At least 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
  • Proficient in using tools like Jira, Confluence.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse and distributed teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Passionate about delivering value to customers and stakeholders.
  • Certified Scrum Master or similar certification from a recognized agile organization.
  • Prefer a Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
