We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Technical Writer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation that supports our products and services. You’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, and subject matter experts to develop user manuals, white papers, and other technical documents that communicate complex information in an accessible format.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Documentation: Write, edit, and maintain comprehensive documentation including user manuals, how-to guides, installation instructions, FAQs, and API documentation.
  • White Papers: Develop in-depth white papers and research-based content that showcases the technical capabilities and innovations of our products and solutions.
  • User Manuals: Create detailed and intuitive user manuals that help end-users understand and effectively use our products.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, marketing, and support teams to gather technical information and understand documentation needs.
  • Content Review: Participate in reviews to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in documentation. Edit and revise content based on feedback and updates.
  • Standardization: Maintain and improve documentation standards, templates, and processes to ensure consistency across all written materials.
  • Research: Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities. Stay updated with industry trends in technical writing and documentation tools.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Communication, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in a software, IT, or technical product environment.
  • Proven experience creating user manuals and writing white papers for technical products or solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and a strong grasp of grammar and style.
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, concise, and accurate manner.
  • Familiarity with documentation tools such as Markdown, Confluence, MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, or similar.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an Agile or product-based development environment.
  • Familiarity with APIs, cloud technologies, or enterprise software is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices for online content is an advantage.
