Zoox is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, diagnostic system engineer to join the System Engineering Integration Department. As a Diagnostic Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and optimizing diagnostic capabilities for advanced autonomous vehicle hardware, including lidars, radars, cameras, and high-performance computing platforms. You will be responsible for defining system-level diagnostic requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leveraging diagnostic data to enhance system stability.
SEI (Systems Engineering & Integration) is bringing a systems engineering approach to the Zoox mobility-as-a-service product. We are systems engineers working directly with other supporting ecosystem teams to develop and mature architectures, validations, tools, and processes inspired by systems engineering best practices.
Compensation
There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary range for this position is $191,000 to $249,000. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
