I worked at Wal-Mart for four years. I know Wal-Mart, but I would bend over backwards to do things that needed to be done. You know how they sometimes wrap their registers during Christmas, yeah, I did that. I also wrapped empty boxes for display for an entire shift once, making sure that they looked perfect before I would let management take them.

I took on the role as co-founder for my partner's art business that he started up a couple of years ago. We were struggling to keep track of spending for supplies, vendors, and taxes. I decided to learn how to create a basic report using Google sheets to track our expenses, sales earnings, and receipts that we need for tax purposes. Now when he does his quarterly taxes he can easily locate the total number in sales without having to search through multiple documents.

At times I advise clients on concerns they may have in both a professional or personal capacity. I would also help them do their research and follow up as well as offer any additional support.

Honestly I do this daily. I am a huge fan of treating others the way I would like to be treated.

Recruiter
I am a recruiter at my current job, but I saw a need to update some of our safety procedures. I took the time to make sure our manual was updated, created an emergency call sheet we could take with us, and designed an exit route map to display in the office.
A time I went above and beyond when we were onboarding a website designer onto the team. I created an base dedicated to training resources that she would need. I didnโt have to, but I wanted to make things seamless for her. :)

This may be unrelated to work, but I remember a time where I was pretty much the unpaid therapist for a coworker. While there is a fine line between how you treat your coworkers and friends, I had just felt that she needed real time support as she was going through a breakup and wasn't able to sit still. Sometimes, I feel that it's important to recognize that your coworkers need the same type of support and encouragement you would provide to friends and family.
When I closed down my offices due to the pandemic, my company suggested I just trash all of our leftover snacks. Instead, I researched donation orgs and mutual aid groups who would accept them and coordinated various pickups. When it came time to permanently close our offices, I once again researched groups who were in need of furniture, dishes, office supplies, etc and made sure to reallocate and donate as much as I possible could, rather than sell to liquidators who would take these items who knows where. It was a lot more work on my part, but I'm so happy that I was able to redistribute these items to the local community where they were truly needed.
When working s customer service I stayed on the phone with an elderly lady until she downloaded the pay app to her phone because she was really frustrated and if I would have transferred her she would have waited a very long time.
In my previous role as a Social Media Response Specialist, I saw there was a need to update our resource links and FAQ's. I decided to go beyond my job description and update it and share with my peers. It was extremely useful and eventually led to a project to implement a BOT system.
Thats daily, Make it your mission to do something for someone else. Usually not monetarily but equity sweat, without letting anyone know, and commit to it.
