Senior Software Developer

AHEAD’s Business Applications Development team is looking for a Senior Software Developer. You will have the opportunity to serve the entire organization, from pre-sales to quoting and invoicing, to service delivery. Your role will involve developing and maintaining software applications that support various aspects of the business operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable solutions. By leveraging your technical expertise and problem-solving skills, you will contribute to building robust systems that enhance productivity and streamline processes across the organization. Your work will have a direct impact on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of critical business functions, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction. 

As a Senior Software Developer in this role, you will have the opportunity to play a crucial role in implementing a data lake using ETL tools, enabling critical integrations between key business systems. Another primary focus will be on delivering high-quality and secure data for reporting and AI applications. You will also be responsible for building Apex and LWC components in Salesforce to cater to specific business needs and developing custom applications in Golang to tackle complex data ingestion challenges. By leveraging your expertise in these technologies and your problem-solving skills, you will contribute to the successful execution of projects and drive innovation within the organization. 

• Act as a technology leader, driving the adoption and exploration of new technologies within the organization

• PoC (Proof of Concept) new technologies and evaluate their potential benefits and drawbacks

• Establish and promote best practices for software development, ensuring high-quality code and efficient workflows

• Demonstrate strong programming skills in Salesforce Apex and LWC (Lightning Web Components), as well as other equivalent languages and technologies

• Solve complex problems and provide innovative solutions to technical challenges

• Assist other developers in resolving issues and removing blockers to ensure smooth progress of projects

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy software solutions

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, and continuously enhance technical knowledge

• Contribute to code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards

• Participate in agile development processes, including backlog planning, and estimation

• Extensive experience as a Senior Software Developer or similar role

• Strong expertise in Salesforce Apex and LWC, with a solid understanding of the Salesforce platform

• Proficiency in one or more of the following technologies: Snowflake, TSQL, Golang, Mulesoft, Azure, and Terraform

• Familiarity with equivalent languages and technologies is highly desirable

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and propose effective solutions

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders

• Proven ability to lead and mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support

• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
