Analytics Engineer (f/m/d)

Did you know that in-app ads are sold in a real-time auction before they get rendered by adjoe’s Android and iOS SDK in thousands of mobile apps? 


It’s exactly for this that adjoe has built its own adtech platform. Our backend system can simultaneously handle a few billion auctions in real-time every day. It receives price bids for every ad impression via API from more than 20 different companies buying potential ad inventory. 


Behind the auction scenes, we have impressive prediction models working to figure out if an ad is relevant to a user. Our algorithm requires operating data from multiple data sources and performs calculations in real-time.

What you will do:
  • Work closely with DS,  DA and  DE:  Spearhead analysis to identify key improvements for our ad network.
  • Data analysis and signal extraction: Crunch large datasets to identify relevant signals and metrics that fuel our predictive models.
  • Contribute to the tooling for online controlled experiments: Develop and maintain tools to support A/B testing and other online experiments, ensuring reliable and accurate results.
  • Create and Manage Data Models and Dashboards: Develop data models and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators and provide actionable insights.
  • Bridge the Gap Between Analysis and Engineering: Translate analytical requirements into technical solutions. Contribute to build pipelines for our Deep learning model needs. 


Who you are:
  • You have experience in data analysis, data engineering or analytics engineering, with a strong focus on SQL, Python, and Big Data framework. 
  • You are a critical thinker. Proefficient in extracting and manipulating data to provide actionable insights.
  • You are familiar with online experimentation practices. 
  • You have experience building and maintaining data pipelines and analytical workflows.
  • You have experience working with large datasets and analytical databases.
  • Plus: You have experience with scheduling frameworks such as Airflow.
