Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq:  ARWR) is a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company that develops medicines that treat intractable diseases by silencing the genes that cause them. Using a broad portfolio of RNA chemistries and efficient modes of delivery, Arrowhead therapies trigger the RNA interference mechanism to induce rapid, deep, and durable knockdown of target genes. RNA interference, or RNAi, is a mechanism present in living cells that inhibits the expression of a specific gene, thereby affecting the production of a specific protein. Arrowhead’s RNAi-based therapeutics leverage this natural pathway of gene silencing.

Arrowhead is focused on developing innovative drugs for diseases with a genetic basis, typically characterized by the overproduction of one or more proteins that are involved with disease. The depth and versatility of our RNAi technologies enables us to potentially address conditions in virtually any therapeutic area and pursue disease targets that are not otherwise addressable by small molecules and biologics. Arrowhead is leading the field in bringing the promise of RNAi to address diseases outside of the liver, and our clinical pipeline includes disease targets in the liver and lung with a promising pipeline of preclinical candidates.

Arrowhead’s corporate headquarters is in Pasadena, CA with research and development teams in Madison, WI and San Diego, CA.  Our employees are nimble, science-driven innovators who are collaborating to bring new therapies to patients in need. 

The Position

Join our People Services & Culture team as a Talent Acquisition Partner at Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals in Pasadena, CA, and play a vital role in building our high-performing team. In this dynamic role, you will lead full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing, and offer management, ensuring a seamless and engaging candidate experience. You will collaborate with hiring managers across multiple locations—Pasadena, CA, San Diego, CA, Madison, WI and Verona, WI—to attract top talent and drive hiring strategies. As a strategic and detail-oriented recruiter, you’ll leverage your relationship-building to connect great people with great opportunities. Reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on Arrowhead’s growth, culture, and success.

This position is fully onsite, 5 days a week based from our Verona, Wisconsin site. 

Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end hiring process, from building job descriptions, sourcing and screening candidates to interviewing, and extending offers
  • Candidate Experience: Ensure a smooth, engaging, and professional candidate journey throughout the recruitment process.
  • Scheduling & Coordination: Partner with hiring managers to coordinate interviews, manage calendars, and facilitate efficient scheduling.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers, People Services & Culture, and business leaders to understand talent needs and help implement recruitment strategies.
  • Talent Sourcing: Leverage job boards, networking, referrals, and direct outreach to identify and attract top talent.
  • Applicant Tracking: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure compliance and reporting accuracy.
  • Employer Branding: Represent the company at career events, networking functions, and industry forums to enhance employer brand presence.
  • Market Insights: Stay informed on hiring trends, compensation benchmarks, and recruitment best practices to advise hiring managers effectively.
  • Recruitment Operations: updating and organizing key resources such as the organizational chart and other hiring-related documentation.
  • Ad-hoc Support: assist with various People Services and talent-related initiatives as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience in a corporate or agency setting
  • Strong experience in scheduling, interviewing, extending offers, and salary negotiations.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and People Services & Culture site partners.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.
  • Enjoys working on a computer and in an office setting
  • Self-starter who is motivated to complete and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to manage high volume recruitment

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science or a healthcare related field
  • Recruiting experience for pharmaceutical, biotech or other R&D organizations
  • Experience using Greenhouse
Wisconsin pay range
$70,000$80,000 USD
