The role of Senior Counsel, Legal is a full-time attorney position within Asurion’s Legal Team and has responsibility to support drafting and negotiating of commercial client agreements, including external-facing contract negotiations. Senior Counsel, Legal will provide day-to-day support for Asurion’s client services teams, including facilitating discussions designed to consistently provide cross-functional communication and guidance for activities requiring legal support.
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic project leader, with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, strong time management, communication and prioritization skills, management experience, and prior corporate and commercial legal experience.

Previous insurance and/or service contract regulatory compliance experience
Experience in marketing, advertisement, and consumer protection

Aptitude and motivation for staying current with regulatory changes in insurance, service contract and consumer protection regulations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required Education and Experience
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to the bar (must be able to be admitted in TN)
10+ years of relevant experience
